2008, Make it the Year when Learning and Development becomes Accessible to All!

Happy New Year to you all!

We are now in to 2008 and it is an opportunity to review the year past and plan for the year to come.

Beginning with our review of 2007, November saw Crystal Learning successfully complete its first year in business. This year has seen us continuing to deliver a variety of training and development activities with our clients – particularly in the local authority sector. To support us in doing this through both capability and capacity we have cemented a number of partnerships with other learning and development specialists.

During the year we have also started to develop new opportunities that will make learning and development accessible to everyone. This has included the designing of new products such as the Performance Managers Deck of Cards piloted at the end of the year and culminated in the Short Sharp Session project launched in December. These sessions are reviewed in more detail on the Crystal Learning blog that is attached to this site.

2008 will see more Short Sharp Sessions and it is intended that we run these in conjunction with some of our partners to create a more extensive and valuable range of options. Look out for future topics, dates and venues on these pages as we move throughout the year.

We also anticipate that a product aimed at people and organisations going through change will be launched at the East Midlands Showcase in April at the Kettering Conference Centre. We hope very much to see many of you there. Again as we get closer to the event we will provide you with more details.

With the exciting introduction of the Crystal Learning blog we have created an interactive way to communicate fresh new learning and development ideas and best practise during 2008. It will provide an opportunity to generate a collaborative discussion arena that allows you to share your thoughts and experiences with others. Crystal Learning will continue to design and deliver quality, customised people and management skills training throughout 2008 and we look forward to working with you in the months ahead.
